The look of determination was in the eyes of the basketball squad as they went through a dis- couraging season. Lack of college experience plagued the team, as only four members returned from last season. However, Garden City men continued to rank in the confer- ence in individual efforts throughout the season. 111 A surprised look seems to be on the faces of Dale Hammerschmidt and Gary Hodgkin- son. Pasadena housed the tracksters who qualified for the national outdoor track meet held in Texas.
