Required for 3 year State Teachers Cer- tificate. I Elementary Ethics. Two-hour course for Sophomores. Second semester. Facts of human life and conduct. Prerequisite: Course la. Mental Hygiene. Required of all Freshmen. 1 hour credit. EDUCATION Methods of Teaching. Three-hour course. First se- mester. Organization and presentation of subject matter to insure good teaching. Elementary Education or Classroom Management. Three-hour course. Second semester. General appli- cation of the aim, scope and setting of elementary ed- ucation and its organization. Introduction to Educational Measurements. Three- hour course. First semester. Study of need for standard tests. Actual practice in giving, scoring, tabulating, and interpreting both group and individ- ual tests. Introduction to Education. Two-hour course. Second semester. Acquaints the student with educational facts. Provides ground Work for more advanced sub- jects in education. Supervised Teaching. Three-hour course. Second se- mester. Actual experience inthe classroom under the supervision of the instructor and of other experien- ced teachers. Prerequisite: Courses P1 and A2.
