Gar-Field was predicted to finish 5-5 by the Washington Post. What a surprise! The Indians finished the regular season a perfect 10-0 and was ranked fourth in the state. Coach Courtney said that his biggest pleasure of the season was seeing how close the team became. “They were like a family.” He also enjoyed seeing all of the enthusiasm from the student body. 76
