FIN EG AN HALL North Hall Reded icated Last year's North Hall is this year' s Finegan. The dorm was dedicated in memory of Owen T. Finegan who died last year. Finegan Hall continued to be the only co-ed dorm on campus. More relaxed hours and rules led to a close and friendly feeling between the west wing men and the east wing women. The old 'North Hall' is the newest dorm complex on Gannon's campus. The modern lobby, laundry facilities, and zig- zag hallways attest to this fact. 15

WHERLE HALL Ex-Male College Only Male Dorm Gannon College a once-upon-a-time all-male college now has only one all male dorm, which is Wherle Hall. This dorm became the only male dorm two years ago with the closing of South Hall. Wherle Hall attracts more upperclassmen because of the more flexible hours allowed them there. In fact, the dorm hour policies there are literally nonexistent. The men may decorate their rooms any way they wish from paneling the walls to carpeting the ceilings; from black lighting the walls to postering the ceilings. Wherle Hall provides all the comforts of home with its vending machines to ward off the munchies, billiard tables, and a com- plete recreation room to pass away the long hours in-between classes, study time and rainy afternoons. And to make sure those term papers can't be forgotten Wherle Hall is located right across from the Learning Resource Center.

OFF-CAMPUS Apt. Rates Rise As Economy Dips Many male students as we know are lucky enough to live off-campus with their fraternal brothers in their Frat houses. But what about the Gannonites that don't have a frat house to live in, where do they stay? Many live at home, since apartment rates have been hit by inflation. Others share apartments thus lowering rent and living expenses. To help cut those living ex- penses even more Gannon's Student Liv- ing Office provides a list of fairly reasonable priced apartments off-campus.
