McManaman, Auxiliary Bishop and Pro-Vicar General of the Erie Diocese, from his position as secre- tary of the Board of Trustees works tirelessly for the development of a greater Gannon College. HIS EXCELLENCY, MOST REV. JOHN MARK GANNON CHANCELLOR OF GANNON COLLEGE His excellency Most Reverend John Mark Gannon, Archbishop-Bishop of Erie, has worked tirelessly for more than forty years to provide the educational facilities found in the 13 counties of Northwestern Penn- sylvania which constitute his diocese. He recognized early in life that man has lx th an eternal and temporal destiny to achieve and that the surest means to that achieve- ment is the education and training of youth. In this respect, Bishop Gannon has recently inaugurated an ambitious, long- range development program for the pur- pose of increasing the facilities of the college. We cannot adequately express our gratitude for the abiding presence of our beloved founder and Chancellor.
