HIS EXCELLENCY, MOST REV. JOHN MARK GANNON CHANCELLOR OF GANNON COLLEGE His excellency Most Reverend John Mark Gannon, Archbishop-Bishop of Erie, has worked tirelessly for more than forty years to provide the educational facilities found in the 13 counties of Northwestern Pennsylvania which constitute his diocese. He rec- ognized early in life that man has both an eternal and temporal destiny to achieve and that the surest means to that achievement is the education and training of youth. In this respect, Bishop Gannon has recently inaugurated an ambitious, long-range development program for the purpose of increasing the facilities of the college. We cannot adequately express our gratitude for the abiding presence of our beloved founder and Chancellor. HIS EXCELLENCY, MOST REV. EDWARD P. McMANAMAN, AUXILIARY BISHOP OF ERIE Most Reverend Edward P. McManaman, Auxiliary Bishop and Pro-Vicar General of the Erie Diocese, from his position as secretary of the Board of Trus- tees works tirelessly for the development of a greater Gannon College.
