otm amtii) The Division of Social Sciences aims to develop the social aspects of the students it serves; it seeks to impart a working knowledge of the principles of the social sciences, and a disposition to apply and live by them ; it encourages a knowledge of controversial social questions, critical evaluation of the conflicting arguments, and asssumption of an informed position effectively expressed. Finally, it is the purpose of the division to stimulate useful social and political activity in the com' munity on the part of its students. The division aims to familiarize the student with every phase of business — organization, operation, sound business management, the relationships be- tween the business and the customer or client, the employer and employee; it seeks to develop skills in Accounting, Mathematics, Finance, and Statistics in accordance with the vocational and other needs of the individual student. Aware that the moral values are of the utmost importance, the division has as a major objective the development of ethical behavior in every phase of business relationships. Finally, the division strives to produce graduates who are men of character and culture, and who have mastered the fundamentals of sound business practice.
