I Y ' Our officers for that year were: President ............ ,Mitchell Taylor Q Vice Pres........ ....Kenneth Hardin Sec. and Treas. ..... ..Betty Jane Miller ey Again in August of 'AA when once more we assembled to- is gether with Mrs. Pedigo as sponsor, we were sorry to discover that our class had decreased again. This time there were twenty-seven of us. Mitchell Taylor entered the army in a few weeks. This year Katheryn Dyer and Neva Poland were absent from the class. Louise Paige came here from Summer Shade. During this year we gave two plays, both of which were a great success. The first one was Best Seller given in NN February, the second Busy As A Beaver was given in March. 'Ne Q lyk. used the proceeds from the plays to entertain the seniors. We Quilt Q spent a day at the Great Onyx and Mammoth Caves. We went T X 'ji through the Great Onyx Cave. Everyo ne enjoyed the day im- A l 4 mensely. Another member married during that year. V The seniors selected their play Dotty aid Daffy which Q was a big success.
