I, KENNETH GOODSPEED, leave my car (?) to Art Garrison, IF he can insure it. I, CHARLES HATHAWAY, leave my inferiority complex to anyone that can stand the psychiatric fees. I, MARY HOWARD, leave my favorite song, Frankie and Johnny to Shirley May. Take care of it, Shirl! I, DAN SUTCH, leave my space in Walt Pixley's barber chair to any boy (or girl? ?) who has a head to fit his bowl. I, MILLIE LENDL, leave my ponytail to Sue Palombi. Don't forget the spit curls. Sue! I, ALICE SKORNY, leave my unbalanced Senior Class books to Betty Armitage. I hope she can giggle her way to a balanced budget better than I could. I, CARL AHNERT, leave my ability to beat Tim Johnson in a drag race to anyone who is willing to travel. 1, ETHEL BARBER, leave my ability to get along with Mrs. Fahey to David Gearhart. I, GERMAINE BECKWITH, leave my ability to get along with older boys (young men) to any Junior who could use it. I, ANN LINK, leave my witty opinions to John Morack, if he has the nerve to use them. I, DALE HOUGHTON, leave my terrific bowling ability to Joyce Funk. Hope you know more about the game than I do. I, DOUG SHERMAN, leave my ability to equal Tim Johnson in tall tales to anyone who'd dare try it. I, JACKIE QUINN, leave my black sideburns to Bertha Fuller. Just don't bleach them, hon'. I, PAUL KRONSBEIN, leave my green bow tie to Gary Fuller. Hope it doesn't clash with your eyes, Gary. I, LYDIA LONGACRE, leave my one woman band to anyone who can stand the racket. I, BETTY PLOSS, leave my fiery temper to Walt Smith. Hope you can stand the heat, Waltl I, JOYCE KELLER, leave my fancy dancing to Ronnie Wood. Don't step on anyone's feet, will you? I, BETTY MOFFAT, leave my unusual appetite to Joe Downs. Thirty-one strong we entered the new school building as the first freshman class. In the fall of 1952, with the help of Mr. Walter Slade, we began to function. OFFICERS President------------------- Angele Cusson Vice President-------------- Joseph Downes Secretary-------------------Jacquelin Quinn Treasurer--------------------Joseph Skorny Student Council--------------Mildred Lendl Gerald Sutch In our sophomore year we started to grow some, with the help of Mrs. Florence Griffen as our class advisor. We found ourselves limited to one activity: a roller skating party at Healy's at Perth. Mary Howard, our President, moved away and the follow ing slate was put into working order: OFFICERS President--------- Secretary ----- Treasurer------ Student Council - Joyce Keller - - Carl Ahnert - Mildred Lendl Lydia Longacre Gerald Sutch Although there were no other authorized school activities we had many enjoyable times at parties in each other's homes. “TTC ie 56 In our Junior year our main objective was the production of the annual. The Galway Piper. With the help of Mrs. Aileen Estus and twenty-five classmates we managed to put out a yearbook. Other activities included the Junior Prom and the sale of refreshments during basketball games. This year we gained two new members: Mrs. Gladys Parsons, who was our class advisor for nearly half a year, and Ethel Barber, a new student. Three students were lost that year: Kenneth Pasqueral, Vivian Fonda, and Angele Cusson. OFFICERS President------- Vice President - Secretary------ Treasurer------ Student Council Lydia Longacre - - Gerald Sutch Jacquelin Quinn - Alice Skorny ■ - Elinor Young Gerald Sutch Finally we pulled into our Senior year with an enrollment of twenty-two. With the able assistance of Mrs. Aileen Estus we started to make money for the Washington trip. With the addition of a rebel, Lee Halverson, we got off to a good start. Through the sale of various articles and the putting on of various activities we started to accumulate money. During the year we lost Gloria Hicks and Jacqueline Quinn. But here is something we all know. He's really quite a guy! Now Timmy has a little car; He thinks just can't be beat Its power is terrific--'cause He feeds it CREAM OF WHEAT. There's a girl named Diana A little doll is she. She packs a lot of wallop 'Tho she's only 5'3 . Johnny Morack, he's our Man! A real cool cat is he. He's tall and lean, his marks are keen, And what a personality! David A's a real good boy The teachers are on his beam. Of course, they must do something -They aren't allowed to scream!!! They call her Joan, 'cause that's her name. She'll never let you down. A friend in need is a friend indeed. If Joan's the friend you've found. There is a tiny, little girl And Peggy is her name. If she should go and leave us. Our class wouldn't be the same. Gerry had a little chick Its feathers long and shiny. And wherever Gerry went The chick followed behind he. Gabby has a little car. That’s painted grey and white. Every time he turns it left, The darn thing goes to the right. A1 is a witty guy. With a twinkle in his eye. With glasses on his nose and socks on his feet, He always puts tacks on other peoples' seats. Trapper Joe will always blow When any game warden comes by; 'Cuz we know that Trapper Joe Traps mink on the sly. Andie is the toast Of the Galway Lakeshore coast, And though his top is flat He don't know where he's at. Walt Dovhan takes Driver Training. He drives both far and near. The only trouble he has though, Is putting it in gear.
