NThe Quartermasters of Navigation Division plotted the ship ' s course, kept the ship on course, and determined the exact position of the ship. They kept all the navigational charts and publications up to date and kept a log of all the events as they occurred on and around the ship. They navigated in tight spots along the coast of South Viet Nam, where there sometimes was as little as 18 feet of water beneath the hull. Our Aerographers predicted the weather for us, and kept key persons informed of threatening situations. ENS Greenwood; G.W. North, QM1; J.L. Knea, AG1; D.R. Williams, AG3; R.J. Stanley, QM3; and T.J.
