HISTORY ln the fall of l02l another class was ushered mto kmdergarten under the direction of Miss Martin Ol this class sexen haxe reached graduation to gether 'lhey are Mildred Thxelmann, Nadme Fowles Ruth Dancker, Marilyn Fwoldt Phyllis jatho Lorraine Paulsen, and Lester Moeller Another little pal Rose Cooley was called home during this year Miss Troxell introduced us to our first reading lessons While we were stumbling through this process Charles Armiger and Gene Steffen yoined us Miss Garber guided us safely from the second to the thlrd grade While here Henrietta Hoeck Clarence joslm and Gladys Fritz Joined our ranks None of us will ever forget Miss Kuyper the fourth grade teacher who tr ed to keep us orderly We wonder did she succeedg You must remember that we haxe always been considered the most ornery group in school During the vacation between the fourth and fifth grades Thelma Raukohl a loved classmate was taken from us Miss Brink made rt possible for us to get through the hard fifth grade mto the sixth vrhen Miss Kitchen lent her willing assistance Merle Sorensen joined us here Seventh grade, with our banquet under the direction of Miss Walter and while we were here When we were in eighth grade Miss Franck took Miss Walters place and helped us to publish a very successful paper The Flying Arrow I-nterrng high school was a big thrill for all of us Here Loretta and Mil dred Goettsch Minnie Fritz May Belle Conover and Beverly Brlese joined us The initiation received by us and the lrlltlatlon party entitled us to many pleas ant 4 rl memories Our sophomore and junior years were spent rn earning enough money fo the J nior senior banquet Will anyone ever forget the thorns we encountered n thi process J Elna Boe and Esther Newman come at this time so we had tv o more willing workers Our Irish banquet was one of the most beautiful al fairs Holstein H1 h has eyer had Mr Derham and Mrss Reif helped to make this a cess Now we haxe come to the end of our hlgh school days Although none of u haxe done anythmg particularly brilliant we have been represented in ath letics dramatrcs and muslc and we are proud of our class of 1934 Phyllis A jatho r ,Q 1 - - .i 1 4 ' w 1 W L L A I I .
