Q N When their honorable sponsors, Miss Sellers and Mr. Anderson, called S ZHZHZHEHZN ZHZNZHZHZ a meeting of the ladies and knights for the purpose of organizing, they chose Kathryn Soth Queen of the Court and Willie Moeller and Frances Lorenzen as attendants. This noble class of ladies and knights were prepared to overcome S the obstacles of life. This was shown to a great extent and to the satisfac- 3 Q tion of their division of the court, when the ladies won the inter-class basket S E ball tournament, carrying off the honors of the day. Later they overcame Q E the English class demons and were rewarded with a party. E NINEH H W2 After some debating as to where they would celebrate their holiday and the nature of the holiday they were to celebrate, they decided to spend g the day in the woods reveling with nature. And, although the way was dif- Q E ficult, their carriages and horses made the journey a pleasure. Verna Raukohl was in the dramatic 2 E group, and Kathryn Soth and Gladys Weede represented us in the jesters' E pg class. 3 5 On the 10th of February, the Sophomores entertained the court at a E E knaves' thard ,timesj party. Gay were the costumes of the ladies and wild E at the costumes of the knights, as they came to spend the night in revelry. S E The hall was decorated in honor of St. Valentine and was gay with the E 2 dance until past the eleventh hour when a bounteous repast was served by E 'Q the Sophomore ladies. E Q The ladies and knights of the Sophomore class are remaining faithful E lf to the court of Holstein High, and as they entered, so will they leave it- 3 E victorious.
