E SE As Freshmen we started our high school days with high spirits, pep, E S and a determination to make them a success. Soon we entered many events E MEN H2 and took part in many projects. One of the high lights of the year was a E class party. S 5 As So homores, we kept on working toward our goal throughout E N p . . N E the year. We gave a program and also a party with the high school faculty 3 3 as our Guests. 3 N h . M 3 gs Now, as Juniors, we have our goal but a short distance from us. Our 55 3 race will soon be done. We have now only to put forth our best efforts to if N win it-to reach the goal, Shortly after entering school last fall the class H 2 2 S T was organized under the very able band of leaders already named. Much E E co-operation and willingness to help out class undertakings was shown by S 3 gg everyone. 3 2 sa E There were several events of interest: the selection of class rings E 2 which resulted in the beautiful ones which now adorn the hands of the E 2 uniorsg a ma azine saleg and an interclass basketball tournament which as g 2 E was intensely interesting to everyone. In the girls' contest our girls ranked E 5 second and played excellently, as also did our boys. S E On December 21, the junior class entertained the high school at a 2 E program and party for which the gym was very appropriately decorated E N in red and green, and the sta e bore a large Christmas tree. The first part Z x g l ea E of the program was a song, Romeo and Juliet and the second, a play, E 2 The Toy Shop, which created a great deal of fun. was well received, and E H ver successful. Then all guests were presented with a favor, after which Z z Y se E the grab-bag presents were distributed, and refreshments served. Ei E In February numerous candy sales were given and the motion pic- Q E ture, The Flaming Forest, put on at the Scenic for the benefit of the 2 3 class, greatly increased the amount in our treasury. 3 In April of 1927 the junior class entertained the Seniors at the annual 2 junior-Senior banquet. Much time and energy was expended by each junior E 2 in getting ready for the event and we hope and have every reason to believe S E that it was the mostsuccessful banquet in the history of the High School. E E Much of the triumph and success achieved by the junior class was S E due to the help and good advice of our sponsors, Miss Kratz and Miss Water- E z . as M house, and we sincerely thank them. 3 E --Paula W.
