The final score was Galva 50, Correctionville 0. Co-Captain Jensen led the rapid fire scoring with four touchdowns. The Blue Devils gained well over 4-00 yards in this one, mostly on the ground, as they remained undefeated, unscored upon, and showed that they were ready for the big Early battle. GALVA BEATS EARLY! ! The longest winning streak in Iowa football, twenty-four straight by the Early Cardinals, was brought to an abrupt halt Friday night by the ram- paging Galva Blue Devils. The score was a convincing 32-7, sweet revenge for two close defeats at the hands of Early in the two previous seasons. LL. BLUE DEVILS TROUNCE NEWELL 58-7 The outclassed Newell gridders were never really in the game as Galva thun- dered to a smashing 58-7 triumph in their last home game of the season. This victory clinched Calva's first Bo-Coon Championship and marked the final home appearance of Galvais most illus- trious football team. UNDEFEATED BLUE DEVILS DEFEAT MARCUS 4-7-7 The Galva Blue Devils notched their first undefeated season last Friday night by storming over a game Marcus squad 4-7-7. This game was really a tribute to the seniors who wore the Calva uniform for the last time. ,Ierry Jensen, Richard Rasmussen, Roger Lease, Don Webb, Frank Winslow, Craig Zabel, Jerry Voge, George Nielsen, Gary Getzmier deserve lots of credit.
