Without a senior on the entire squad, they have been handicapped by a lack of height and experience. Being a relatively' young team, they have been rather inconsistent, looking very good at times, but occasionally showing a lack of poise. As the season progressed, they showed signs of becoming a tough outfit to beat by next year. Prior to the time the Galvacade went to press the Devilettes have chalked up victories over Wall Lake, Ida Grove, and two over Arthur. junior forward jo Ann Rusch has been leading the scoring, while Karen Paulsen has been the mainstay of the back court.
