Among our yesterdays this picture will bring a few laughs, but it will also serve as a comparison to our varsity squads of today. This was our track squad in junior high in 1951. These fellows are our juniors and Q v sw' I I if ,W fe' its seniors of this year. -5 In the little colony school at Bishop H111 many exciting incidents have happened We will always remember those free for alls during recess and after school Good old Bishop H111 never a dull moment' if SCHOOLS WE REMEMBER Our days at Lincoln school were full of wonderful friend ships and memories We were always rivals with the north side but when we raduated into the seventh ra e and ar rived at F U W ite north and south became one' On Januar 8 1950 fire razed the old E' U White School leaving only its walls and the memories of many a north sider. Memories that reach out from the early days at Mrs Anderson's kinder arten to the ood times we all ad in junior igh. F U White--we miss you! We who attended several rural schools scattered out around Galva have our mem- ories too We'11 never forget the fights the fun and most of all the friendships we shared together. Country schools are fast disappearing from the landscape around Galva We're sorr we can' show you these littlle schools but to us one memory is worth one thousand pictures.
