From Principal LAURENCE E. LITTLETON As you receive the congratulations of your parents, relatives and friends upon your gradu- ation, the good wishes of many others may go unspoken. Yes, unspoken, but sincerely felt and undoubtedly expressed in some more tangible manner during your lives. ...... . It may have been expressed by some kind deed of a custodian, by the extra interest or help of a teacher, or even by one caring enough about you to see that you did a job well. Perhaps it is these little but important services which distin- guish Galt High School from all others. Services taken for granted demonstrate, however silently, that we do care. ......... . So that our thoughts will not go unspoken, the best wishes of your Board of Trustees, teachers, administrators, and the many others who have served you and our school go with you into the future. . ....... . . One of the greatest goals in life is that of completing a course of action you have set out to perform .......... Another goal in life is that of service. We hope all of you will see that the true worth of any person is measured by the service he performs in behalf of others. As parents, board members, chairmen of committees, church leaders, and the like, persons grow in understanding and stature in the community where they live. .... . The world is full of needsg these needs can be met only by individuals who are concerned for others, and then move forward to do something positive. Be a member of that positive group!
