Congratulations to you for having achieved the goal on which you have been working the past four years! Members of the Board of Trustees, Teaching staff, and other mem- bers of the district loin me in congratulating you for having accomplished what you set out to do. An old proverb declares, Be careful what you set your heart on because you are sure to get it . This proverb sug- gests that we more often achieve our goals than we would believe. The proverb also suggests that it makes a difference as to what our goals are going to be. It is our hope that the best influences of this school will become an integral part of your lives. lt is also our hope that your future will contain a generous measure of success, and the satisfactions which come from being a responsible citizen, from establishing a warm, friendly relationship in your own home, and from doing your part in making our wonderful world continuously a better place in which to live. The world rolls by year by year, too swiftly for many to com- prehend. Each day brings its choices, its judgments and decisions.
