FOREWORD The theme of the T949 Hi-Lights is the Gold Rush Days of '49 . The Hi-Lights hopes to recall happy memories of campus doings at Galt Hi, a period of the theme and the present year. The people, rushing to California, hopefully looking for gold, remind us of the graduates, starting their careers, hoping to reach their goals in life. The wish of the editor and her staff is that the Hi-Lights of '49 serves to keep the golden days of high school in mind.
