G U I-I S greener I TI-IE PRINCIPAL THE class of 1940 is the largest ever to graduate from Galt Ioint Union High School. Possession of balance in leadership, participation in acti- vities, sound scholarship, the ability to cooperate, and a desire to put school before self, characterizes the class. I feel that the members will succeed in life as good citizens, economic independents, and as leaders among their fellow men. There is no doubt that this group will uphold the finest traditions of the Galt Ioint Union High School, and I, personally, am proud to have had a hand in shaping the destinies of its members, - FLQYD E.
