We will ever remember them for their fine school spirit and congenial personalities. Corky's footsteps will ever echo over the track and football fields and we know his spirit will always be with us. Percy's friendly smile will be the missing link when the class of 1956 passes through the portals of Gallup High School. We cannot say, We must not say That they are dead, They're just away! With a cheery smile, and a wave of the hand, They have wandered into an unknown land, Think of them still as the same, and say: They are not dead - They're just away! ,MQWQ kv' l C3 A-1 -1 SUPIERlNTENDENT'S OFFICE Left to right! This governing body is made up of the three elected officers and the Presidents and Vice Presidents of each class. This year we directed the High School initiation activities which were held in the afternoon before the first football game. This initiation was very successful and we are anticipating many more activities of the same throughout the school year. In interviewing our Student Council President, jimmy West, we found these small items of interest and thought you might like to know about him too. He has dark brown hair, brown eyes, and is 5'l0Z tall. He comes from a very happy family of four children. jimmy's favorite sport is baseball which he hopes to continue through his college years. We're sure you'll agree that he's a swell guy and has done his best for Gallup High.
