For only a little while can he look upon it with impartiality. When he first comes into the school it is just another building-here he will spend most of his waking hours for four years-he doesn't realize that memories of the days here will be his for a lifetime. He sees the boys and girls around him: friendships are forming, friendships that will hold with stronger ties than he now dreams. He sees the football team as it leaves for a game: feels the spirit of the school begin to enfold him and become a part of his life. From the day of his registration to the end of the year when the yearboolrs are being signed, the school draws him closer. The school now is his life. He has become a part of all that he sees.
