Vi is Senior Class History f OR four long years the members of the Clagws of 1919 have sought in various ways to inscribe their numerals with lasting force upon the roll of honor of the classes of G H. S. Thru out that time we have met vvith the f i hardships and joys of high school days 'nd now approach in triumph the Commencement rewarding oui efforts. If we have failed in one thing or another 'We h .ve forgotten it for we know that success has been ours to a greater extent 'ind this our history should but enumerate these successes. Even as Fieshmen vue piov ed that vve vie e made of the iiglst s uff foi oui bovs pioduced a basket ball team that made enviable record while the guls basketball te m be r e nigh school champions As Sophomores vve did our shale tovv aid making the Hign school te ms a success and ou clfi s displayed 100 per cent good High School spirit During the Junior veai vve more than contributed our share in deb te as vn ell as all branches of athletics In fact all but tvvo members of last year s debate teams vveie Juniois Ev ery vear the Class of 1919 has turned out foi the annual high school musical In this our Senior vear vve have continued as vve began and the Spv this yeai vve unblushingly declare to be the best ever Thus the vears have pas ed Novv that the end is nefu vve look back and smile happy that vve have filled ou1 niche in the course of p1 ogi ess in G H S although regretful that our high school days are so near ov ei and that vve vvill soon leave fO1EV91 the halls of G H S Four happv years of high school life ale mst about over and two veiy momentous questions stare the Seniors in the face viz Hovv 'im I going to eain my board and clothes next vv1nter and Hovv can I bear to leave my old friends Tiulv these are enough to cast over the most iovous and carefree mind a cloud of impenetrable gloom Hovv evei there are times vv hen mere vs oids cannot express the emotions one feels and one breaks into song Surely 1ust novv is such a time foi all Seniors so imagine O reader the solemn rod of melody Vx hile the Class of Nineteen Nineteen chants Wheie O v here aie the Grand old Seniors?
