MIRANDA YEE: A personality bubbling with energy, Miranda has been a regular 'thotwire during her three years at Gal. As a sophomore, she started right in as class historian, attended G.A.A., and became a yell leader for her first Song 81 Yell contest. Even then, Miranda was display- ing qualities of leadership and soon became a leadership girl. During her iunior year, she became a J.V. song girl, ioined the Girls' Council and Silver Seal. She also started to work for the Pendulum Staff. Finally, during her uhighliglhtu tseniorl year, Miranda became a life member of Silver Seal, received her G.A.A., Leadership, and Girls' Council pins. She was reg. pres., L-'l2 Class Pres., in the Song 8. Yell Contest as a 'tfootball player, on the Senior Council, and was editor of the Senior Pendulum. To top it off, she put out the Senior Show, Variety Hours. Miranda left this school with a grand exit on graduation night, when she was given the J.F.K. Memorial, the outstanding girl title, re- ceived honors in P.E., and trophies for her many truly outstanding activities. Obie Goodrich MARY WONG: This quiet, young lady has probably tried the hardest to help her class in its advancement. The class offices which sihe has held proved to be a great asset to the class. Mary has held various registry offices, enabling her to be an active member of the Senior Council. On the Senior Poll, she was voted most amiable girl, which is a good introduction for her. l i Us url! , Q. Q ,L , M4iu ,.,,,W,,.,. I ' ' X ' ew-lwvf , Vt , :.,.,,i,,,., Z REESE MARIN: This tall, lanky, and goodlooking youth that was walking around school was Reese Marin. Although Reese was a slow starter, he eventually woke up and really got going. He was in J.V. and Varsity baseball and football. He was active in the last Song and Yell contest as a yell leader. During his high senior year, 'he dedicated his services freely as chairman of the Senior Pot Luck Dinner and emcee of the Senior Variety Show. Now that he has achieved his final goal in this school fgraduationl, and has left, our school will not quite be the same. 30 SYLVIA YOUNG: Sylvia was a necessary mainstay of her class. She represented tlhem well in the H-l2 Council. She was Junior Red Cross Representative, class council repre- sentative, Pendulum business manager for two semesters, and secretary of her high senior registry. Sylvia is always will- ing to offer her help to those who need it. Much of her class success was due to diligent work. The class has truly been thankful for her support. Sylvia Young is indeed young and s'he has the best qualities of youth. She has the heart of an infant for her friends, an eager beaver get-up-and-go when her school needs her. ln short, she's a gregarious, unselfish girl. fli ll
