The Senior class, carrying out the meme of Ping , staged a rickshaw race as part of their skit. The Son and Yell Contest is a Gal- 8 ileo tradition dating back to 1945. It arouses school spirit for the coming football season, as each class works feverishly to win the gold cup. The classes are required to sing the school hymn, fight song, and prepare a skit, in addition to the yells. Judging is based on the general appearance, per- formance and conduct of each section. Never at any time throughout the school year is there as much enthu- siasm and spirit among Galileans as when they perform at the Song and Yell Contest.
