CO0 lt, CQ TBSMWYLB Now, more than ever before, American youth is conscious of the tremendous responsibility that has been placed on its shoulders. The National Defense program calls for complete cooperation from both adults and youth. At Galileo, the R.O.T.C. has accomplished measurable results. The R.O.T.C. is composed of male students who learn reading, first aid, characteristics of rifles, how to operate different guns, and many other military maneuvers. The policy and history of the government is also included in the course of training. All work and no play would make jack a dull boy, and there are instances when strict discipline is forgotten. Every year the Oli'icers and Non-Coms have a football game. fThis season the Officers won, 18-0.j Then there is the socially important Saber Club dance, usuall held at some local hotel.
