Trick or treat for UNICEF! On Halloween FHA mem- bers solicited funds for the purpose of supplying emergency food and medicine for children in under- developed nations. A babysitting service was offered free of charge to mothers of young children who otherwise might not have been able to vote in the national election. A Christmas pizza party for mem- bers was held and gifts were given for teenagers at the Children's Center in Sparta. FHA members attend- ed and participated in the fall rally held at Mel-Min at which time the theme Jobs, Careers and You was developed. A Mr. Irrestible dance was held in January. A party for residents of the country home at Whitehall was planned. Exciting dances, ideas, and projects were included in a year filled with service. The student council again organized the Homecoming parade, bonfire, and sockhop; also the Christmas program which included a two hour movie this year. After the students voiced their desire for a student lounge, the student council delved into the problem and came up with a reasonable substitute.
