Beadle. high school evaluated by north central The Signs of the Times indicate a need for continuous improvement and revision. Among high school students we see a much more worldly attitude today than we did in pre- vious years. A few years ago the most vital concern among 14 to 18 year olds was how to get to town on a Saturday night or who is going to win the game on Friday. These are still important to high school students, but more important are the problems of a satisfying personal career and world peace. As a result of this changing attitude professional educators must be constantly re-evaluating their methods and techniques. Our recent North Central Evaluation enables us to do just that. And the fact that a great percentage of our teachers spend many hours in graduate classrooms shows their desire for improvement. All improvement among staff members will ultimately benefit the students of our fine school. The soaring cost of education supported by a willing public is another sign which shows a desire for only the best. The families of our school community, your parents, recognize the need for good education and they are willing to provide the necessary funds for this purpose. The Signs of the Times have shown us the need for a good sound education. It is up to each of us--students, parents, teachers and administrators--to see that you, and all of those students who follow you, are provided with every op- portunity to receive the best possible start on the long road of a very competitive life. We salute the Class of 1969 . . . What you have learned here will help and guide you the rest of your lives. Mr. Gary Einerson 10
