R eflectavue 73 Each year, the Reflector has sponsored a mu- sical-variety show to help pay for yearbook expenses. This year, Reflectavue was better than ever, with close to 350 students involved in the performances on November 29 and 30. The theme for this year's production was Show Biz Is. Many students did solos or duets in either vocal selections or dance routines. Oth- ers combined their efforts into groups. Two old- time favorite dances were brought to life on the stage with re-enactments of the Charleston and the Jitterbug. The Girls' Chorus sang a medley of songs from famous musicals includ- ing Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof and I Enjoy Being A Girl. The A Cappella Choir sang a medley from The Music Man. The Concert Choir presented an interesting flashlight routine to This Little Light of Mine. A very colorful number was presented by a group of students to Are My Ears On Straight? It centered around toymakers and their brightly-colored toys: dolls, clowns, pup- pets, and ajack-in-the-box. Each class was represented by a girls kickline. Jazz Band por- trayed Lawrence Welk, complete with the bub- bles. The Streakettes exhibited their precision gymnastics, and the Gadets drill team did a hat routine to Bill Bailey? Reflectavue not only is a necessary boost to the Reflector, but a boost to school spirit. Between rehearsals and hard Work, everyone has fun. Do you see what I see? The Fabulous Fifties!
