MR. RQY DAMBERG Twentyeseven years ago the dim corridors of Freshman Alley were invaded by the personality of Mr. Hoy Damberg. Ever since the first day of his arrival, he has been admired by all who have known and who have worked with him. Every student knows him. Every student is at one time or another influenced by his disposition, his projects, his sincere counsel, and his philosophy. Hardly a student graduates without going to his room to attend some kind of committee rneeting, to have an eligibility signed, or merely to enjoy talking and laughing with the friendliest of Gl-lS's teachers. In his daily classes he has acquired the reputation of patience and honesty in dealing with his students. No questions go unansweredg no one is turned away because he is too busy. His teachings are not only from the books, but from his experiences with life. His pep is reflected in the organizations he has sponsored, the Pep Club and his kids, the cheerleaders. While these be his permanent jobs, he continues to be in charge of printed material for every high school affair year after year. With words we try to pay a tribute to Mr. Roy Darnberg. Even Mr. Webster is sadly lacking in words that will describe him. To hirn who has given so much, and who is loved and admired by all, we sincerely dedicate our 1951 REFLECTOR.
