Anxious to help the high school keep abreast with the times, MISS MYRTLE KAINU stimulates her social science classes through cur- rent events. Her interest in youth and their problems is not limited to schooltime .... A new divan for a play, a new flat for the set-MR. ROY LANDON and his workshop boys are ready to oblige. Mr. Landon is always ready to don his uniform and join the band, or to don his swimming suit and instruct future Red Cross Life Savers and swimmers .... Dance programs, posters, announcements, tickets, even our Budget all come rolling off the presses in the print shop with MR. ROY DAMBERG in charge. Sponsoring cheerleading is another respon- sibility of Mr. Damberg .... Successful student apprentices are proof of the valuable training provided in MR. THOMAs BROOKING,S shop classes. Mr. Brooking is sponsor of the Student Activity Association, the board that brings you football, basketball, music, drama, the Budget, the Reflector, athletics, and assemblies all in one neat little book .... with a shout the pony football team gallops onto the field, and Bennington's boys are off for another season. Side lines include quartets and trios for both school and city entertainment and the co-sponsorship of the Music Honor League .... Throughout the year MR. EDWIN LANTZ has supplied solos, trios, quartets, or the entire band and orchestra for innumerable civic occasions as well as for school concerts.
