FACULTY OO I: 12 0 TO THE SENIORS For your attainments at Galesburg High School we offer you sincere congratuations, justly deserved for work performed faithfully and well. At the same time it is with a twinge of regret that we reluctantly yield to the inevitable separation of graduation. Truthfully we shall miss you, and yet, we envy you. There is no statement more false than that which might lead you to believe that by your graduation you have finished your education. You are merely continuing that growth and develop- ment which thus far has constantly attended you. VVhatever you may have learned of the value of faithful, dependable work, of the satisfaction of true friendshipg of loyal co-operationg of happiness in the service of others will stand you in good stead. The future is waiting to challenge and in- trigue you. lts problems are yet to be solved, its history is still to be written and its beauty is still undiscovered. As you go forth to meet this challenge of the future, it is our wish that each one of you may be dedicated to the high ideals and purposes which will bring you real and abiding happiness and success. AN APPRECIATION To the classes of former years you owe much, for they established the ideals and traditions of Galesburg High School as you found them. For you, these have been both a heritage and a trust. Your record of the past four years in leadership, scholarship, athletics, dramatics, debate and other school activities proves that you have been faithful to that trust. Classes of the years to come will benefit much in striving to emulate the spirit of the class of nineteen thirty-two.
