I’m cold, l ' m wet, l’m HUNGRYH THE 1980-81 MARCHING BAND AND JAZZBAND This year the 1980-81 Band directors position was taken over by Donna Salada. Donna graduated from Galesburg-Augusta High School in 1974 and pur- sued her music career at Florida State. She then came back to Michigan to be director of her old alma mater. The Band is supported by the Band Boosters. They raise money by sponsoring bingo every Satur- day night and the proceeds are used for supplies and the directors salary. This group made it possible to continue music in the school. In Marching Festival this fail our Band is proud to have earned a “1” rating in competition. The G—A schools have a tradition and a reputation of excel- lence. Now come on, it wasn ' t THAT bad! Band Director Mrs. Salada 20
