They were: Judy Apfel, Viki Reed, Sharon Upson, Lois Drake, Dale Martin, Ann Raymer, John Oldt, Marilyn Brackney, Joanne Dinzik, Roger Bower, and Barbara Van Antwerp. This Society is the highest honor for a high school student. The members were chosen on the basis of scholarship, leadership, character, and service to the school by a faculty committee. D.A.R. PILGRAM . . . Barbara Van Antwerp was select¬ ed by the Senior girls and the faculty. She was chosen because of her dependability, citizenship, and leader¬ ship: Barbara is affiliated with dramatics and Future Nurses. She plans on entering the nursing career.

CO-VALEDICTORIANS Mary Stoeffler John W. Oldt This year the highest honor in a high school career, that of being valedictorian, is shared by Mary Ann Stoeffler and John Oldt. Both students obtained their average of 3. 83 while taking a College Preparatory course. John majored in Math, Science, English, Social Science, and minored in Physical Education. Mary Ann earned major credits in English, Math, Science, Com¬ mercial, Music, and Social Science. Mary plans to study math in college, and John will enter Albion Col¬ lege to study Sociology in preparation to be a social worker. Qcholct tiC No ms Sharon Upson holds the position of saluta- torian this year. Her average was 3.80. Sharon majored in Math, Science, Eng¬ lish, and Commercial, and minored in Foreign Language, Physical Ed¬ ucation, and Social Science. Sharon will enter Bronson School of Nursing after graduation.
