Galena moved up into District 8-AAA!-X this year and turned out a fine job. Coach Cobb came to Galena from Beaumont, the District 8-AAAA Basketball Champions in the 1953- 1954 season. Norman Giles, who helped bring our team to the finals in the State Basketball Tournament last year was again one of the starters ot the Galena Park Yellow Jackets. After lettering twc' years and playing 14 out of 22 games this year he was unable to finish the season because of a knee injury. Norm is an example of a fine athlete and tribute should be paid to a wonderful sport. Here are the men who so successfully guided the Galena Park A and HB teams to victory in the basketball season this year. Coach Kirk Drew, HB Team, Coach Gerald Cobb, UA Team, Coach Stanley Suba, HB Team. Conversion of the gas-oil to the above mentioned products is promoted by a catalyst. This catalyst is a finely powdered natural clay and is circulated through the unit at a rate of 34 tons per minute. Conversion of the SINCLAIR REFINERY SINCLAIR OILS 1' gas-oil to the final products is accompanied by a deposit of coke on the catalyst. This coke is burned from the catalyst to return its activity and also supply the heat necessary for the conversion. One unusual feature of the unit is the CO Boiler. This equipment converts the carbon monoxide in the flue gas from the unit to carbon dioxide and re- covers the heat released as steam for operating the unit.
