'luanita Scott and Ronnie Stewart were nominated as our candidates for queen and king of the Blue and White. loyce Mallatt was our candidate in the Football Queen contest. The class worked hard in both the sale of annuals and football season tickets. The class play, The Darling Brats, was presented with success on November 30, and was well re- ceived by the audience. Lajunta jackson was crowned Sweetheart Queen at the annual Valentine dance in an all school contest sponsored by the junior class. The juniors have the outstanding record of having had three successive Sweet- heart Queens for the Valentine dance. One of the year's outstanding events, the lunior- Senior Prom, was held April 25, sponsored by the junior class. Both students and guests enjoyed this gala affair. Money for the prom was earned through paper drives, candy sales and the class play. The class enjoyed several parties and was well represented in the extra-curricular activities throughout the school year. Sponsors of the class this year were Mrs. Faye Fruitt and Mr. Robert B. Clark. 18
