Reflections Uf Gale-Ettrick High School Educational systems in America are continually changing, and Gale-Ettrick High School is no exception. New techniques and ideas in learning are being applied and old methods are being improved and up-dated. At Gale-Ettrick a vocational coordination program has been put into effect. In its final stages, it will enable a high school student who has completed the program, to go directly from high school graduation into industry. In an effort to further world relations and promote communications among different countries of the world, the American Field Service is being re- organized at Gale-Ettrick, thus bringing a foreign exchange student to Gale Ettrick in 1972. The world situations such as the Mid-east conflicts and Southeast Asian war as well as the elections held in the 1970- 1971 school year, involved Gale- Ettrick students and gave them the chance to exercise their citizenship.
