Lolly Beatty Queen of the Boll John Willsie President ofthe Key Club SEMESTER BALL Queen and Princesses pose with their escorts. On January 29 the Key Club spon sored the Annual Semester Ball. The Mello-Tones provided the music and the fabulous decorations added just the riqht touch of atmosphere. The climax of the evening was the crowning of Lolly Beatty as Queen of the Semester Ball. Her court included Princesses Cecilia Zetts Marianne Hershey and Mary Ann Phelps. President John Willsie started a new custom by introducing all past Key Club presidents at the Semester Boll.

Key Club members prepare to sell light bulbs in an effort to finance the band trip to Florida. Under the sponsorship of Mr John Freeman, Key Club mem- bers participate in service ac- tivities. vice club of G. H. S., has again made its presence felt in our school. Some of our fund-raising projects this year have been selling light bulbs, candy, and refresh- ments at the Ldb0l Day parade. With profits derived from these sales, we have helped many de- serving causes. ln addition to raising money we have assisted during the basketball games and have helped the Kiwanis Club, our sponsor. Our club, sponsored by Mr. Freeman, consists of twen- ty-eight active members. 2'
