Donned in white and gold uniforms, shining white boots, and plumes in their hats, these high-stepping Maiorettes add a spark to the GHS Band. Every year they look forward to the Winchester Parade. Last October the Maiorettes won a trophy for the Best Appearing Maiorettes in the Damascus Parade. They march for Labor Day, Cherry Blossom, and National Guard Armory Parodes. The School Store is a familiar place to see many students in the morning before homeroom. There they get a wide variety of school supplies, including bookcovers, binders, tablets and ball-point pens in the school colors and imprints.
