T Electa Taylor was born and raised in the Gainesville area. She at- tended Cooke County Col- lege where she earned her Associate of Arts Degree. Later Ms. Taylor attended North Texas State Univer- sity where she received her B.S. in Education and her M.S. in Guidance and Psychology. She has been a member of the School Board for 2 terms and is the first woman to serve in 20 years. Frank Morris was born in Gainesville in 1947. In 1968 he left to attend North Texas State Univer- sity. From this institution he received his BBA degree in 1971. He moved back to Gainesville in 1973 to take up a career in banking. Mr. Morris en- joys most outdoor ac- tivities and has served two years on the school board. l Nathan Cook is Minister of Music at the First Baptist Church and is in his eighth year. He is a graduate of Baylor University with a Bachelor of Music Educa- tion and has a Master of Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a native Georgian, mar- ried and the father of three children. Mr. Cook is cur- rently president of the Singing Men of North Texas. This is his first year on the School Board. Kenneth English has resided in Gainesville for the past 7 years. He en- joys hunting and fishing. Mr. English attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcus, Texas where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. Later, he did graduate work at Texas A8tl and ETSU. Mr. English is currently an instructor at Cooke County College and in his first term on the School Board. Gene Cummins has serv- ed on the School Board for 8 years. He is currently secretary of the board. Mr. Cummins is a Gainesville native and en- joys hunting and fishing. He is a graduate of Baylor University and is presently employed in sales. Ed Bianchi and his family have resided in Gainesville for 15 years. Mr. Bianchi is presently Director of Com- munity Relations for Weber Aircraft. He graduated in 1961 from Loyola University of Los Angeles and has served on the School Board since 1979. ln his spare time Mr. Bianchi engages in beekeeping. He is presently the Vice- President of the School Board. Pete Horn Jr. has lived in Gainesville for 43 years. He is married and has two daughters, Debbie and Pam. Mr. Horn is a li- censed mortician and graduated from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science. He and his wife presently own and operate Aughtry-Horn Flowers. Mr. Horn has served as president of the board for the past two years. He en- joys motorcycle riding and snow skiing.
