He came to Gainesville in 1957 to accept the post ofprincipal of Gainesville Junior High. Mr. Die graduated from Sils- bee High School in 1939. He attended Stephen F, Austin Col- lege, Where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1946, and his Master of Science degree in 1948. From 1946 until 1950, he worked with the Tenaha School System, serving as coach and principal, then superintendent. In 1953 Mr. Die taught dis- tributive education for Glade- water Public Schools and also served as Director of Public Relations for Schools. ' L 2 r MRS. Mr. James V. Campbell Since 1960, Mr. James V, Campbell has servedas principal of Gainesville High School. Prior to that he was assistant principal for four years. After graduating from Cleburne High School, Mr. Campbell attended North Texas State University. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees. During World War II, Mr. Campbell served four years in the Navy. In 1945, he accepted the position of principal at Robert E, Lee Elementary School.
