STUDENT COUNCIL PROJECTS The Council has many proiects which benefit the students, and the school. During the first week of school, a Friendship Week and an Orientation program lwhich is carried out through the rest of the yearl are presented to help the students get ac- quainted with the school and the people in it. The Council is in charge of assembly programs and it also sponsors a series of Career Nights which aid the students in deciding on a future occupation. The special bulletin board which gives information pertaining to scholarships and various professions of interest to all students is also a Council project. All student body elections are handled by the group and they sponsor school dances during the year. However, the main duty of the Student Council is to act as a liason between the student body, the faculty, and the administration in working on matters concerning the students.
