Rules for District Music Contest now state that only students receiving a I rating may go on to competition on the state level. Four Gainesville students qualified for the state contest. Anita Hollingsworth, Suzanne Bun- ting, Daina Taylor, and Beccie Farmer received a ll rating in Columbia, Missouri, for their clarinet quartet. You'll always see these ladies in front of the bands flashing a smile: junior high majorette Marsha Robbins, junior high drum majorette Marketa Crisp, senior high drum majorette Suzanne Bunting, junior high majorette Debra Frye, senior high majorette Beccie Farmer, and junior high majorettes Rebecca Dillsaver and Le Ann Collins.
