Donna Reed Reigns As '75 Homecoming Queen Donna Reed, a GHS senior, was crowned 1975 Homecoming Queen by the '74 Queen Miss Sherri Cockrum. The crowning took place February 21, the last home game of the Bulldog season. The Bulldogs were defeated 81-79 by the Forsyth Panthers. The girls were nominated by the sports boys and voted on by the student body, This was the second year for Homecoming at GHS. Donna Reed is introduced during pre-game activities with her escort Greg Hambelton.

Freshmen, Seniors Have Capable Leaders Freshmen started their first year of fund-raising by selling crafts at Hootin' and Hollarin'. Officers for the freshman class are from LEFT TO RIGHT: Dana Crisp, vice- president, Karen Ox- ley, secretary-treasur- erg and jerry Premer, president. The class sponsor was Mr. Law- rence Gwaltney. Their class party was a picnic at Theodosia. The senior class of- ficers for the 1974-75 year are from LEFT TO RIGHT: Sheryl Silvey, secretary, Teresa john- son, vice-president, Manuel King, president, and Rhonda Frost, reporter. The senior class sponsors are Mr. Dene Hughes and Mr. Bob Dreckman. The seniors had a B.B. Shoot at Hootin' and -Hollarin' to raise money. They also sold candy bars during the school year. This year the class sold 13,104 can- dy bars, more than any other class in the past. This spring for a fund-raising project, they had a basketball game. Playing were the senior girls and the Gainesville Homemakers and the senior boys against the male faculty. All proceeds went to the students' senior trip to Washington D.C. '27
