She's educated a good part of two generations in Ozark County. The people who now make up the Board of Education, the administration, and faculty at GHS once sat in her classroom. And now she's teaching their children. r Stella Luna began teaching in the Isabella school in 1933. The following year Mrs. Luna and her husband Mearle got their degrees from SMS. They both came to the Gainesville school system where Mr. Luna served as superinten- dent for a number of years. Mrs. Luna taught business and English classes, sponsored the school newspaper for fifteen years, and the school yearbook for eight.

We, the 1975 BULLDOGGER staff, feel it is a privilege and great honor to dedicate this edition of the BULLDOGGER to Mrs. Stella Luna. Mrs. Luna has been in the teaching profession since 1933. She has spent 37 of these years in the Gainesville R-V school district educating students for business vocations. Who could even estimate the hours she has spent giving extra help in and out of the classroom or the number of lives she has molded and influenced? You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give. We dedicate this annual to an individual who truly gave of herself.
