, 1 9' Me dia Guild The purpose of the Media Guild is service. Club members volunteer their time to work in the library before, after school, at snack and lunch. They check in and out books to students, help process new to be added to the shelves and assist students in finding materials. The Club contributes much in the way of service, this year a Christmas canned food drive made the holidays brighter for many. The club projects include supporting school spirit and campus beautification. Varsity Club David Salcido, Steve Swartz, Mark Mendez, Silveen D'Orazio, james Arriola, Tony Eckles, David Burrows, Ron Harper, Mark Estrada, Dan Biddle, Mike Tebbutt,joem Seminara, Chet Beatty, David Fay, Craig Incardone, Alan Takeuchi, Ivlike Lueras, Danny I-Iemandez, Mike Hedtke, Rick Wieth, Paul Huffman,joe Valenzuea, john Helzer, Steve Fife, Donn Thompson, Mike Lee, Ted Garcia, joe Wiersma, Wayne Folsom, Paul james, Mr. Wray - advisor. 3 Composed of members with high academic standings, the California Scholarship Federation's main objective is to raise money to provide scholarships for graduating seniors. Along with their efforts to raise money is their desire to explore academic interests. This year the club traveled to various colleges and universities in the Southern California area. 42 involvement

FQRUM Staff The FORUM staff, headed for the second year by senior Sherri Blank, has been an issue each month. In bl' h' order that the FCRUM can be free to Gahr students, staff members have sold ads and sport programs to raise money for publication costs. M-'P' Managing editor Steve Manoogian has headed ad sales and kept the books, in addition to his work. Clayton Muns, copy editor and rewrite man, has assisted page editors Natilie Gayou, Bev Hom, Donna jenkins and Tim Wilson by reading and correcting copy, writing headlines and rewriting stories that don't meet Forum standards. In addition to these jobs he handles exchanges with other school papers. Sam Pedace, Mike Bowman, Perry Tribolet, Bill Anderson, and Ron Casteel comprise the reporting section of the Forum staff. Marvin Hom and Shane 3 Thompson furnish pictures for the staff. Having won a certificate of merit for outstanding columns in the previous X year, the Forum staff hopes to receive more awards for this year,s work. . 44 Involvement
