They make their entrances and their exits. and each student in his time plays many parts. lfirst. as the Freshman. timid and cautious. he creeps through the halls in this. his initial appearance before his new audience. Great obstacles confront him in this yet unfamiliar role. Then, as the Sophomore. awkward and doubtful, he slowly develops his second role in this great production. While his speaking part is not yet significant, and the scenes are still somewhat strange to him. he begins to be filled with ambition and sets out to achieve his goal. Next, as the junior, experienced and resourceful, he advances from a bitapart to that of a recognized player by participating in extra-curricular activities. He has passed the mark that distinguishes the beginner from the more experienced player as he approaches the last scenes of his act. Last, as the Senior, poised and learned. he is ready to face life and to pursue his ambitions. The Senior, with courage. with confidence, and with competence, has completed his last act in high school under the guidance of his capable directors. I-le is now ready to take on bigger roles to be played on the stage that is the world. ln this 1948 lcarian, we present the program of the play pro from September, 1947, to june, 19-18.
