Make B6ll8V6,, On April 6 the Juniors presented to the Seniors their ver- sion of a Junior-Senior Prom, Make Believen style. Everyone who attended entered the make believe world by walking under a rainbow. The magical world was filled with rainbows, unicorns, care bears, and a carousel. The enter- tainment was supplied by Disco Pat, whose lighting effects were outstanding in itself. The Cherokeean Staff would like to commend all those who contributed to the prom for a job well done. Upper Right: Cindy Sereno, Susan Martin, Vicki Phillips, and Susan Ed- wards take time out from serving to pose for a picture. Left: The enter- tainment for the night was supplied by Disco Pat. Middle Right: These girls pose beside the unicorns that they made for the Junior-Senior. Lower Left: Mrs. McDaniel and Kevin Stanford look on as everyone dances the night away.

Ring Ceremon - A GHS Tradition 13 This year, because of the EIA, the seniors were not able to have a ring ceremony during school hours, but with a lot of work from students and faculty, the Class of i85 had the ceremony at night. Because of the time it was held, many parents were able to come and witness this special moment of their child's life. A fall backdrop set the stage for each senior to receive his ring. At the end of the ceremony, the seniors formed a ring in the center of the floor to symbolize the never ending circle that they had just received, and the never-ending circle of friend- ship that they had developed over the years. 5Sxi..a6.aMA f-w---, Jamie Campbell and Cristy Mathis exchange rings.
