You, Me, and Grganizations Belonging is an important part of growing up. Some of us belonged to a big organization like the band, while others belonged to a smaller group, yet just as important at G.H.S. Any group knows the value of working together. For example, a complicated football play, although often incom- prehensible to an outsider, is actually a most carefully planned and executed maneuver. If there were not painstaking efforts made to insure that each member of the group knows his job and that each individual executes his specific task skillfully, a group would never succeed. Just as any sports team member can tell you the value of joint action, any member of an organization should know this also. For it is in this high school experience that individuals first come into con- tact with the importance of cooperation.
