We are living in what the new history books will call the atomic age. On the brink of this new era, we present our first annual in seven years. We hope it will reflect the kind of young people we want our school to send into this new world. It will show the kinds of activities we have participated in — therefore, it will show the type of leaders we will be tomorrow. We sincerely hope that it will be looked back upon decades from now and will be cherished for the things it can tell about the way we lived and worked on the edge of this new era. The Seniors of '48.
